For the opening of Le Palace in 1978, Thierry Mugler was commissioned by Fabrice Emaer to design the uniforms for his staff. The result was a bright red boiler suit with a gold lamé belt and shoulder pads. The iconic design was first presented alongside Mugler's F/W 1978-79 collection, and became emblematic of Le Palace's glory days.
