Riechers Marescot was founded in Marck, Calais in 1880.
Marescot became a primary supplier of embellished lace for the haute couture industry due to their innovative designs.
This precious lace is produced on antique machines dating back to the 19th century.
In 1997, Sophie Hallette, another leading lacemaker, acquired Riechers-Marescot.
