This model was presented on the runway with a matching pillbox hat, and worn over a second skirt and black leggings. The eye-catching pink tweed is certainly the statement, however when one looks closer, speckles of blue, orange, and green are revealed, bringing some nuance and the hand-woven aspect. Complementary gold-toned buttons run diagonally down the crossed jacket to an offset bottom hem. The wrap skirt is adorned with fringe along the bottom, working its way up to the closure on the side for a doubly asymmetrical look. The set is fully lined in a matching pink silk.
The couture client later decided to remove the original shoulder pads, making for a less severe silhouette, and an easier wear.
The lining on the skirt presents with minuscule holes. Otherwise excellent condition.
